Step 6,557,263 (357.6 LBS)

I broke my streak this week by being up at my weigh-in. I was sloppy with my eating and lax on my exercising. I continue to struggle with the temptation to overeat. A reader suggested that I may need to try Overeater's Anonymous. That may be my next step. There isn't a local meeting close by, but OA offers online and telephone meetings. I am considering trying the online meeting. I have no problem admitting my addiction, and if OA helps, then I'll give it a shot.

Sunday's Steps: 7,406
Monday's Steps: 12,694
Tuesday's Steps: 11,375
Yesterday's Steps: 12,302

I found your blog on one of my followers list.... and I'm glad I did.

Struggling with overeating is tough for me too. OA is definitely a good option... actually anything that your able to gain support from is.

If it wasn't for a few of my readers, I might of given up long ago.

On a positive note your off to a great start this week in terms of steps! My highest # of steps (since I've been keeping track) is 10655... so you're doing great!

Best of luck this week

I am going to suggest that you find a Big Book of A.A. and were it says booze, pills ect...you replace it food. Just that alone was huge help to me. Then try the online stuff as well. You won't regret it

Good luck. I am kind of excited for you! Let me know how it goes.

You are have to do something to lose weight. I told you about the time I lost weight by not doing anything when I broke my leg, but that was only because I could not get to any food while in the hospital. I'll bet that would be expensive to spend 4 0r 5 months in a hospital doing it that way.
By all means go to wherever you want and talk to who ever you want, but never forget, you are going to have to do something!
When I get the urge (and I do mean urge) to eat something I start for the refrigerator. As I walk to get something, I pass the treadmill and I remember that if I walk briskly on that treadmill, I lose the urge.
The only reason I get on the treadmill and walk briskly is to lose that urge. People will tell you about other reasons for the treadmill. Forget about them. Only be on that treadmill because of the addiction for food.

Jared, it's all a matter of making the right choices. There are plenty of delicious things to eat that won't blow your diet. Take the time and make a list, then keep those things handy for the times you know you will need to eat - at home, at work and in your car.
Good luck. We know you CAN do it!
